Navisworks Foundations

In order to take full advantage of the potential of Building Information Modeling (BIM), it is critical to be able to amalgamate and manipulate models from all contributors to the process. This course is designed for all users of BIM models so that they can view, analyse and schedule projects by utilising Navisworks Simulate and Manage software.

Who should take this course
All participants in the BIM process, but especially those who may not be creating models, but individuals such as managers and se ior staff members who will need access to modeled information from multiple sources.

Who should not take this course?
Really, the use of Navisworks is useful to ALL members of a project team if they hope to collaborate effectively with other participants

Prerequisites:
None, although basic computer application knowledge is a benefit. In addition, knowledge of building technology and construction is valuable.

What you should expect after taking this course:
You will be able to take models from various sources, amalgamate them together for visualization, clash detection and timelining.

Follow-up:
Work with an entire BIM team.
