Revit Training

At Summit, we believe that Revit training is only a part of a total software implementation strategy. Revit training is a very important part, but only if it meets the needs of your organization. That is why we offer a number of different training delivery methods and strategies, depending on the software involved.

Firstly, Summit Revit training can be conducted at your site or anywhere else utilizing our mobile training lab. Secondly, we have structured different types of training offerings depending on where you are at in the implementation process. Finally, our training offerings differ depending on the software involved - AutoCAD based products use a more traditional delivery method since we are typically building on your existing expertise. For Revit and BIM training, there is much more process change involved; hence our delivery method needs to be more flexible and diverse.

Our Trainers
Since most of our staff are experienced in the field, their aim is to provide you with an interesting, engaging experience with practical examples. They are able to discuss complex issues concisely and clearly and meet the differing needs of students in the course. Read all about our trainers here.

Our Mobile Training Classroom
In order to facilitate training wherever you happen to be, we now have two 6–station training labs. All you need to supply is a space – meeting or boardroom will do – and within ½ hour, we will have the room setup and ready to deliver any of our various training programs.

Foundation Courses
Foundation courses generally offer an introduction to the capabilities of the particular applications with exercises focused on all aspects of the software. By the end of an essentials course, the student should be able to start using the software with the expectation of need further support and/or instruction once they progress beyond scratching the surface of the application.

In-Depth Courses
The real potential of any application can only be leveraged once the user has used it for a while and starts to understand what he/she actually does not understand at all! That is why we have created a series of modules addressing the more in-depth capabilities of the concepts introduced in essentials training. These modules are currently being developed and/or are available for the following applications:

• Revit Architecture
• Revit Structure

Delivery of In-Depth Courses
Every organization will have different requirements of their design software; in fact different projects will have differing demands. With our guidance, you will decide which modules are most appropriate to your needs and we will put together a series of workshops on these areas. On-the-job Mentoring
Is provided as part of an implementation plan. It is scheduled and planned to address specific user issues.
