Today Autodesk announced the release of new capabilities for all of its building design software in the form of Advantage Packs for:
Autodesk Revit Architecture, Structure, and MEP
AutoCAD Architecture and MEP

On February 2, Autodesk announced 2 new “Visualization Suites” – one for AutoCAD Users, the other for Revit Architecture Users. These Suites are configured as follows:
- AutoCAD
- Autodesk 3DS Max Design
- Autodesk Showcase

Recognizing Summit as a prime implementation and training source for Revit and BIM, Autodesk has retained our team to produce training materials for all Revit platforms – Architecture, Structure and MEP. These materials will be used in advanced “breakout sessions” to be attended by all Authorized AEC Resellers in North America and Europe.
Clients who would like to take advantage of these materials and more should look at our in-depth training programs which are delivered in ½ day modules.
This builds on the success of our Revit specialist, Victor Okhoya, who developed and delivered Revit Implementation Expert Materials for Autodesk over the last few years. Next week, Victor will be in Moscow delivering the Implementation Expert Program.

Trelligence Affinity
Summit Technologies is pleased to announce becoming a reseller for Trelligence Affinity software. Their extension of BIM and Revit adds the Program Model into the architectural business process of planning, designing and constructing a building.
Affinity software helps architects capture customer requirements and develop a comprehensive
space plan for a project. The application enables an architect to create and
analyze a variety of building layout scenarios using intelligent 3D building blocks, such as
spaces, objects, and openings. Then, the bidirectional integration of Affinity software with
Revit Architecture software makes it easy to take schematic design through massing studies
and on to detailed design, while continuing to track and ensure initial customer requirements
are being met.
Smoother Transition from AutoCAD Architecture to Revit
7 August 2008 - Autodesk announced today that commencing at the end of August, AutoCAD Architecture (formerly Architectural Desktop - ADT) will be included as part of AutoCAD Revit Architecture Suite. This offers an easier transition for users of AutoCAD Architecture who want to retain the application they are familiar with while they are in the process of moving to Revit Architecture.
AutoCAD Revit Architecture Suite owners with a current Autodesk Subscription will automatically receive this new version of software called Release 2009.1.

15 July 2008 - We are continuing to grow, and are pleased to announce the addition of Jordon Woodall to the Summit AEC team. Jordon has worked with AutoCAD for over eight years, with extensive experience in both the residential and telecommunications industries.
